Return and Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping at Hotaru-Japan.
Please note that we sell perishable food products. For health and safety reasons, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges on food items once they have been shipped.
We carefully inspect and securely package all orders before shipping.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hotaru.japanshop@gmail.com.
To process your claim, please provide:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the damaged or incorrect items
- Photos of the external packaging (if it shows signs of damage)
We will review each case individually and do our best to assist you.
In cases of damage caused during transit, we will help you file a claim with the delivery service where applicable.
Please note that claims without sufficient evidence or submitted after 48 hours of delivery may be denied.
